About us

This is MACMO's guide site about MacBook and iMac issues. We've written every article ourselves based on more than 25 years of workshop experience — to help Mac users across Denmark understand their issue, try simple self-help, and know when it's worth repairing. The site is served on mac-reparation.dk, macbook-reparation.dk and imac-reparation.dk — same content, same warranty.

Who is MACMO?

We're Denmark's dedicated Apple repair workshop. Unlike generic PC repair shops, we work exclusively with Apple hardware: MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac mini, Mac Studio and older Intel Macs. We have the tooling, the microscopes and the experience to do component-level repairs that most other shops will turn away.

Where do we operate?

Our shop and workshop is at Amagerbrogade 156, 2300 Copenhagen S, and we cover Copenhagen, All of Denmark (mail-in) through in-person visits and all of Denmark via mail-in. You can always send your MacBook to us with our shipping service — diagnosis is free, and we ship it back after the repair.

Why did we build this site?

We get calls every day from people who don't know whether to repair or replace — or whether the problem can be fixed with a simple software tweak. On this site we collect the knowledge we'd share over the phone anyway: symptoms, diagnostic steps, price estimates and when it's worth doing what. Pages are reviewed in the workshop before publication, and we update them as new Mac models or fault patterns appear.
